Whomever you have a better connection with, you will always connect with. Not really, the different circles don't actually give priority based on proximity. If some are close to you, there's a chance (but they could still be hollow, boss killed, etc)! If you have nodes but they're all at the outside of the circle, you probably can't connect to any of them. So this is the one thing that makes the node draw a bit more detailed than the node count. If they're very far, their circle might be out at the edge of the screen, often indicating they're in a different area altogether. If a player is near you physically in a level, like their character is standing 10 feet away from you, your circles are going to be very close to each other. The node draw feature still doesn't clarify all of that, but it does clarify in-game proximity. This is why you still have failed invasion attempts when you see nodes in PvP Watchdog. Remember that when you have a connected node, that says nothing about whether or not the other player is in human form, whether they're in level range, or if they've moved onto another area. You can actually use this to help you determine a little bit about whether or not those nodes are viable connections, so it's still useful if you're staying in the public channel and not really using this tool otherwise. It's visualized with you being a large circle in the center of the screen, and any other players will appear on the screen with a small circle that is connected to you with a straight line. Similar to PvP Watchdog, it tells you how many connections you have. Something I didn't really explain much in the readme is the node drawing feature. This is hopefully fool proof, the instructions in the readme are super simple. It's incredibly simple and easy to run, trust me I'm afraid of/ confused by existing cheat engine tables sometimes. This will not improve connectivity/ matchmaking in the default, public channel. Improved connectivity is a byproduct of however From designed it.

This mod does literally nothing other than letting you select different multiplayer channels (and allowing you to toggle a node drawing to see active connections). But with 15 other channels than the public one, I expect that you'll have other places to try if things get too populated or weird. Will this slow down if a bunch of people start using them? The general population is always put into channel 7 by default, and having more people than available nodes (20 max) might be one of the reasons connections are slow to build and modulate.
